Clean Environment
When using the Linear Ways in a clean environment, such as a clean room, the environment must remain free of dust generated by these components. Additionally, the environment must have excellent rust-prevention qualities, since rust-preventive oil cannot be applied.

Vacuum Environment
When the Linear Ways are used in a vacuum environment, it is required that the gas discharged from the Linear Ways does not pollute the environment or reduce the degree of vacuum. Additionally, it must have excellent rust prevention properties, as rust-prevention oil cannot be used.

Heat Resistance
In environments with above-average temperatures, the heat resistance of synthetic resin parts and metal components becomes a critical consideration when using the Linear Way.

Corrosion Resistance
If moisture, corrosive gases, or chemical vapours are present in the operating environment, Linear Ways are susceptible to rust and corrosion, which can lead to increased friction, premature wear, loss of positioning accuracy, and contamination of the environment. In severe cases, corrosion can cause pitting on raceways and rolling elements, resulting in abnormal noise and eventual failure.

Dust Protection
